Why Do Men Love Tattoos?

I don't have tattoos. And personally, I don't intend to have one.

I have this odd feeling whenever I see a not-so-pleasing guy with tattoos. I get scared on an instant. But it's the other way around when I've come to see or meet pleasant looking guys who have one or two tattoos.

Take for example, Aaron (the one on the pic below), a tattooed guy from New Mexico, USA. He had his first tattoo when he was 18 and now that he's 22, he has a total of 12 tattoos.

He has one each on the back of his shoulders, one in the center of his back, one on each bicep, one on the back of each arm, one on each forearm, one on his chest, and then one on each calf. I'm so thankful he was able to share some of his pics to me showing his tattooed parts.Read the rest of this entry.

These are some of his tattoos.

Who would have thought that Aaron, a young and innocent looking guy, could have tattoos as many as his moles. According to Aaron, he decided to have them to prove to his friends that he wasn't too afraid to get one. He never regrets having those, 'coz they make him who he is and it is where he could express the real him.

When asked on how girls feel towards his tattoos, he said, "don't know, but i know that some girls like tattooed guys, and tattooed guys would look more intimidating and make the girls they're with less likely to be hit on."

Aaron is living independently in the US for four years already and it is also four years then since he had his first tattoo. I asked him how his parents reacted on it. "My mom was kinda shocked but she got used to it."

He's a student of University of New Mexico and works at the same time as intern at Reynolds, Hix & Co. CPA and as waiter at Chil's Bar & Grill. He emphasized that his tattoos were done professionally and not just made by friends.

Thus, I believe that a tattoo blends or complements with the person who has it. If it does not make you any better, then you don't have to get one. In my opinion, pleasant-looking men like Aaron are fit to have tattoos. Tattoos could make you look cool, or tough and masculine, but it could make you look the worst and terrible if it does not fit into you.
